The Story Trail is a storytelling experience that wanders through some of Galway West End’s best loved establishments. Each venue has a story listed on a QR code. We light heartedly suggest drink to ‘pair’ with the story, but you are of course welcome to order anything your heart desires!
You can listen to the stories in any order, listen to them all, or just one or two and come back.
Check the opening hours of the locations and don’t forget to bring headphones!

5. Check out the full festival programme on the website.
*Some establishments will have the code displayed in a couple of places, so you can listen even if it’s busy.
The Story Trail will be open throughout the Festival and a little beyond. It’s obviously nicer to listen when the venue is a little quieter. Have fun exploring!

3. Plámás, Dominic St Upper: Mon-Weds 8am-5pm, Thurs-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat 8am-5pm, Sun 10am-5pm
4. Taylor’s Bar, Dominic St Upper: Mon-Thurs 5-11.30pm, Fri 4pm-2am, Sat 12.30pm-2am, Sun 2-11pm
5. Rouge Restaurant and Wine Bar, Dominic St Lower: Tues-Sun 4-10.30pm
Gathered in kitchens, studios and live events for your listening pleasure, these stories range from short and shocking, to cheeky and cheerful, to epic and enigmatic! Length is from 2-20 mins for each one.
